What is the geomembrane?
Geomembrane is a type of resistant insulation made of soft PVC or polyvinyl chloride (polyethylene). These insulators are very flexible and practical, and unlike many other insulators, you will not need infrastructure to install them. In other words, just fill the bed with soft soil and install the geomembrane sheets on it. To form or glue the geomembrane sheets together, they use the high heat emitted by the welding machine.
These insulators have high impermeability and almost nothing can pass through them. This product is mostly used in the insulation of subway tunnels, swimming pools, water and chemical tanks, roof gardens, elevator shafts, transmission tunnels, etc.

What is the components of geomembranes?
The most component of geomembrane sheets is polyethylene. Polyethylene is a polymer material that consists of a large number of ethylene. Ethylenes are arranged in a chain and form a large polymer molecule. The raw material of polyethylenes is obtained from crude oil. Polyethylene is widely used in plasticizing industries and making polymer pipes.
Polyethylene has an ideal resistance against acidic and alkaline substances. This property is used in the production of these sheets, and by adding stabilizers to the geomembrane formulation, they increase its durability many times against the sun's ultraviolet rays and environmental oxidants.
